About

The San Gabriel Valley Consortium (SGVC) facilitates partnerships; educates the community and member agencies, and acts as an advocate for appropriate housing and services throughout the San Gabriel Valley area. They are a branch agency of LA County and are on a mission to implement affordable housing initiatives while increasing programs to tackle the homelessness epidemic.

Challenge

SGVC required a set of online tools to manage their members, volunteers, and political stakeholders. Their previous website was legacy and outdated. Since they rely heavily on disseminating information via their website, they needed a clean and rich online presence that's mobile-ready with up-to-date content for site visitors.

Solution

To support their website revamp, we built a clean and modern front-end website design that lays out the agency’s most recent priorities. Their staff now has an easy-to-use content management system (CMS) that allows team members to add, delete and update their content on the fly.

Beyond the Website: Event Management

Saving the agency time & money by automating event management tasks and logistics.

The staff at the San Gabriel Valley Consortium rely heavily on their contact management to promote events in the community. Naturally, as event attendance grew, SGVC needed a more efficient way of collecting participant data for future outreach and follow-ups. They found themselves wasting a lot of time setting up sign-in sheets, doing double-data entry and manually entering each participant into their legacy system.

When SGVC placed its services updates in the trusted hands of CampaignRep, many of their day-to-day operations could be automated using the CampaignRep system. Their monthly sign-in sheet became digitized using a custom made front-end form that captures user data and syncs it to their backend CRM system. Agency staff can now quickly and efficiently follow-up and engage with attendees after meetings.
